JR Financial Analyst Pine Grove, PA- 17963 Shift Timings : 8AM-4PM Pay Rate: $20.00/hr - $ 21.00/hr Summary This position is responsible for analyzing financials through collecting, monitoring, and studying data in addition to recommending actions to take against discoverable data. Ensure accuracy and integrity of the general ledger that supports the financial statements. Essential Functions: • Daily and weekly production report outs • Journal entry preparation, entry to ledger and month end close duties. • Ad hoc projects as assigned. • Internal audit requirements • Continuous Improvement • Assist with yearly budgets. • Assist with semi-annual physical inventories. • Account Reconciliation Preparation • SOX Testing & Reconciliation Preparation • Performs additional duties as requested, needed, or assigned. Ability To Read, write, and speak and understand in English, to interpret documents such as specifications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, reports, business correspondence, regulatory and procedure manuals. Communicate clearly and effectively with co-workers, Supervisors and Managements. Work independently with little or no supervision and be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a team player. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram record data or schedule form. Effectively organize, set priorities, schedule assigned work; oversee multiple and rapidly changing priorities. Displays ability to work in highly productive, constantly changing environment. Effectively execute tasks. Ability to problem solve and quickly adapt to a changing environment. Solid leadership skills; able to lead by example; decision-maker. Proficient with Microsoft Windows/Excel/Word. SAP experience preferred. High attention to details. Project a strong, confident presence SOX knowledge preferred. Education High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Bachelors’ degree in accounting or finance position-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 1 to 2 years finance/accounting experience. Skilled knowledge or direct experience in cost accounting processes is a plus
