Journeymen Configuration/Data Manager

Apogee has an opportunity for a Journeymen Configuration/Data Manager supporting AFLCMC at Wright-Patterson AFB. This position provides configuration management and data management support for acquisition programs.

This is a full time position located at Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio.

• Apply knowledge of configuration management fundamentals 

• Establish and maintain consistency of product's performance with requirements 

• Analyze impacts of configuration management change process on lifecycle sustainment 

• Develop and manage all CDRL requirements 

• Participate in Government reviews/meetings/working groups 

• Assist in developing CCB charter and execute CCBs 

• Review/develop/update program documentation for CM/DM requirements 

• Review program-unique specifications for compliance 

• Process requests for nomenclature and CPINs 

• Support configuration control function for ECPs, CCPs, RFD/RFW, DRs 

• Review change proposals for thoroughness and CM impacts 

• Prepare and conduct CCBs and business management boards 

• Plan/implement FCAs and PCAs 

• Review and evaluate contractor proposals for configuration status 

• Maintain configuration status accounting databases 

• Assist data users with DID selection and tailoring 

• Support data calls and data reviews 

• Prepare and maintain CDRLs for RFPs and contracts 

• Support DR function operation in JDRS 

• Provide CM/DM research, analyses, studies, and documentation 

Minimum Experience:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen 
Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret level clearance
Education:High School diploma or GED 

Years of Experience: 4 years of CM/DM experience, 2 years in DoD

• Knowledge of configuration management processes and tools 

• Experience with CDRL development and management 

• Understanding of FAR/DFARS data rights clauses 

• Proficiency in CM databases and tools 

• Strong analytical skills 

• Excellent attention to detail 
• Good communication skills
