Position Overview
- Dade Electric Service is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to install, maintain, and
repair electrical systems on commercial, institutional, and infrastructure projects throughout
South Florida.
- This role works closely with project managers, foremen, and field crews to ensure electrical
Systems are installed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Install conduit systems, panels, switchgear, lighting, and power distribution
  • Perform troubleshooting and electrical testing
  • Ensure installations meet NEC and local code requirements
  • Follow company safety procedures and jobsite safety policies
  • Coordinate with foremen, supervisors, and other trades
  • Assist with system startup, testing, and commissioning

Qualifications
  • Journeyman electrician license or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of electrical installation experience
  • Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systems
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
  • Familiarity with NEC and electrical safety standards
  • Ability to work in active construction environments
  • Experience with municipal or wastewater treatment plant projects
  • Experience with medium-voltage systems
  • OSHA certification is a plus
