This Department of War enterprise data and analytics program delivers mission-critical capabilities that enable leaders across the Department to make faster, better-informed decisions using trusted data at scale. Leidos Digital Modernization sector is seeking an experienced Journeyman Financial Administrator to support the delivery, enhancement, and adoption of enterprise data and analytics products used across multiple DoD organizations.

In this role, you will work alongside government partners, engineers, and other industry teammates to translate operational and strategic requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions. You will contribute directly to product planning, execution, and continuous improvementhelping ensure capabilities are delivered efficiently, aligned to mission priorities, and positioned for sustained success.

This position offers the opportunity to work on a high-visibility, enterprise program at the intersection of data, analytics, and emerging AI technologies. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support execution of program financial management activities, including cost tracking, labor reporting, and forecasting.

  • Monitor and analyze financial data across CLINs, identifying trends, variances, and potential risks.

  • Assist in preparation of financial inputs for Monthly Status Reports (MSRs) and Program Management Reviews (PMRs) .

  • Track and report on program expenditures, burn rates, and projected costs.

  • Support invoicing processes and ensure alignment with contract and financial requirements.

  • Coordinate with program management, operations, and finance teams to ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data.

  • Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and tracking tools.

  • Support audit activities by preparing financial documentation and responding to data calls.

  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and contractual requirements.

  • Identify and support implementation of improvements to financial processes and reporting.

  • Assist in reconciliation of financial data and validation of reported metrics.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline and 48 years of relevant experience OR Masters degree in a related field and 26 years of relevant experience.

  • Experience supporting financial management, cost analysis, or program finance in enterprise environments.

  • Experience with financial reporting, forecasting, and data analysis.

  • Experience working with financial systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and support cross-functional coordination..

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting DoD or Federal programs.

  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and variance analysis.

  • Knowledge of Leidos financial systems such as: CostPoint, Cognos, Fusion, and Insight.

  • Experience working in cost-plus or CLIN-based contract environments.

  • Familiarity with financial tools (e.g., Deltek, SAP, or similar systems).

  • Experience supporting audits (e.g., SOC1 or financial compliance audits).

  • Experience with System and Organization Controls (SOC) audits and reporting.

  • Familiarity with Government contracting processes and requirements.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, or equivalent).

Pay Range $73,450.00 - $132,775.00
