Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential and commercial settings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute electrical work accurately.
  • Conduct inspections and troubleshoot electrical issues to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to prevent outages and ensure reliability.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations to maintain best practices.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with clients and addressing their electrical needs.
  • Document work performed and maintain accurate records of projects and materials used.
Requirements:
  • Valid Journeyman Electrician license in the state of Louisiana.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently and effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor and lift heavy equipment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
