The Design Engineer is responsible for designing and detailing large industrial pneumatic conveying equipment according to company and customer specifications and within the designated time frames.

Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, or equivalent experience as a Mechanical Designer or engineering role Some level of intern, co-op, or other experience working in the mechanical design field or in support of mechanical design needs or fabrication Experience with 2D & 3D modeling Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Excellent problem-solving skills IT and CAD knowledge Strong computer and mathematical skills Experience designing industry-specific products Flexible approach to work and the ability to adapt to change Ability to work in a team environment Self-motivated attitude and the ability to use initiative Advanced proficiency with MS Office, specifically Word & Excel
Autodesk Inventor, Solidworks, or AutoCAD experience Experience in drafting/design layout for large industrial equipment
