We are currently seeking a Job Placement Coach for the Workforce Pathways & Benefit Stability Initiative Program. This position plays a pivotal role in the WPBSI Program, delivering a comprehensive workforce pathway that integrates Workforce Development & Career Coaching, Job & Vocational Training, Job Placement & Retention, and Structured Volunteer Programming as recognized work‑activity options. Participants receive individualized coaching, job‑readiness preparation, digital‑skills training, and guided transitions into employment, training, or compliant volunteer roles that build experience and sustain benefits.
The salary for this full-time position is $50,000.
Responsibilities:
As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Provide career coaching and digital‑skills support.
Conduct employment assessments and develop personalized employment action plans
Assist participants with resume development, interview preparation, job search strategies, and digital job applications
Support participant enrollment into vocational training, workforce development programs, and structured volunteer opportunities.
Collaborate with internal teams providing benefits navigation, emergency support services, behavioral health services, and digital literacy support
Facilitate workshops on job readiness, workplace professionalism, and career development
Support participant retention by conducting follow-up coaching and barrier resolution after placement
Conduct comprehensive, community-based educational initiatives, training sessions, and outreach programs to raise awareness and promote services by program participants and partners.
Complete grant reports, monthly, quarterly and annually.
Provide individualized workforce and career coaching to program participants
Develop and maintain relationships with local employers, workforce partners, and community organizations to support job placement efforts
Track participant progress, employment outcomes, and work requirement compliance documentation
Assist clients in understanding and meeting SNAP and Medicaid work-related requirements track monthly hours and reporting to public assistance monitoring programs
Maintain accurate case notes, data tracking, and reporting requirements in accordance with program standards
Participate in team meetings and community partnership collaborations
Requirements:
We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in social work psychology or related field
Bilingual English/Spanish
Minimum 2 years of experience in workforce development, career coaching, case management, employment services, or related social service settings
Knowledge of workforce systems, employment resources, and barriers impacting low-income populations
Experience working with individuals receiving SNAP and Medicaid benefits.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, including collaboration with community partners and stakeholders.
Experience with data collection, documentation, reporting, and tracking participant progress.
Ability to work effectively with diverse and underserved populations in a culturally responsive manner.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with community resources and referral networks.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to satellite sites, community events, and presentations.
Ability to work evening hours, as needed.
