About Us: Prospect Meadow Farm is seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Job Coach to join our dynamic team in supporting individuals with
developmental disabilities and autism. This unique position focuses on
supervising, mentoring, and coaching a crew of 4-6 individuals engaged
in farming, landscaping, and other manual labor tasks. Our mission is to
provide meaningful vocational experiences that foster growth,
independence, and confidence in our participants. Key
Responsibilities: - Supervise, mentor, and coach a crew of individuals
with developmental disabilities and autism in various manual labor tasks
including farming and landscaping. - Assign daily work tasks, model
completion methods, and motivate individuals to work effectively. -
Provide behavioral and social skills supervision and coaching during
work activities. - Facilitate crew meetings and assist individuals in
meeting their vocational goals. - Comply with and implement strategies
from vocational support plans. - Ensure the completion of assigned work
tasks. - Collaborate closely with the Head of Farming Operations for
task instructions and work under the supervision of a Site Manager and
Program Director. - Use a company vehicle for participant transportation
to and from the program. Requirements: - Valid driving license and
comfort with using a company vehicle for transportation tasks. -
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions year-round. -
Experience in farm or manual labor related trades and/or human services
is preferred. - Excellent supervision, mentoring, and coaching skills. -
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with a
