Seeking an experienced jewelry bench technician/silversmith/goldsmith to join a team specializing in handcrafted Western-inspired jewelry, accessories, and belt buckles. The ideal candidate should enjoy practical, hands-on work and have at least 2 years of bench jeweler experience.
Responsibilities include general bench tasks such as sawing, filing, sanding, metal fabrication like die striking, annealing, and forming, as well as torch soldering and finishing processes like polishing, oxidizing, and sandblasting.
Preferred skills include preparing wax molds, investment casting, vulcanizing, mold cutting, stone setting, and laser welding.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, critical thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively at all management levels. Experience in stone-setting and casting processes is a plus.
