Job Ttile: Java Technical Lead - ATG Commerce
Location: Remote
Job Type: Contract
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor offshore development teams, providing technical guidance and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java Spring Boot Microservices.
  • Drive end-to-end technical delivery from requirements analysis through production support.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver robust solutions.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, technical design, estimations, and solution planning.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and technical reviews.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and code quality.
  • Build and integrate retail commerce applications with platforms such as Loyalty, CRM, Payments, Martech, and other SaaS solutions.
  • Support and enhance core retail commerce capabilities, including Catalog, Pricing, Promotions, Cart, Checkout, and Order Management.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 10+ years of software development experience using Java technologies.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Technical Lead or Team Lead.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
  • Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Mandatory experience in the Retail Commerce/eCommerce domain.
  • Experience with Oracle ATG Commerce is required.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native application development and distributed systems.
  • Experience leading offshore teams and working directly with client stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
