Your Role
Akkodis is seeking a Java Microservice Developer for a Contract job with a client in West Chester, PA. The ideal candidate has proven experience developing scalable Java microservices and designing enterprise-grade applications using Core Java and Spring Boot.
Rate Range: $45/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Java Microservice Developer job responsibilities include:
Design and define end-to-end architecture for enterprise-scale Java applications and microservices-based solutions using Spring Boot.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to development teams while ensuring adherence to coding standards and design best practices.
Review application code, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement security and optimization improvements.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to establish CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and application lifecycle management processes.
Support production environments by resolving critical issues, conducting root cause analysis, and translating business requirements into effective technical solutions.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
8-10 years of experience in Java development, including enterprise application and microservices architecture design.
Strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, design patterns, and enterprise application development.
Proven experience providing technical leadership, implementing CI/CD strategies, optimizing application performance, and supporting production environments.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour
