Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Java AWS Developer to design, develop, and deploy scalable applications leveraging Java and Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building microservices, deploying cloud-native solutions, and optimizing application performance in AWS environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications and microservices.
Develop and deploy solutions on AWS using services like EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, and CloudFormation.
Implement best practices in cloud security, performance, and cost optimization.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following coding standards.
Monitor and troubleshoot application performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
Work closely with architects, product owners, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development.
Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST APIs, and Microservices architecture.
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, SNS/SQS, CloudWatch, etc.).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS), and IaC (CloudFormation, Terraform).
Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Git, Bitbucket.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
AWS Certified Developer – Associate or higher certification.
Experience with serverless application development.
Knowledge of API security, OAuth2, JWT, IAM policies.
Exposure to event-driven architecture using SNS/SQS/Kafka.
