Java Backend DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java
- Build RESTful APIs and microservices with frameworks such as Spring Boot
- Write secure, high-performance, and reusable code
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)
- Containerize applications using Docker and manage orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes)
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and Product teams
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical planning
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system reliability
- Optimize application performance and scalability

Required Technical Skills:
- Strong experience with Java backend development
- Proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security
- Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design
- Knowledge of ORM frameworks (Hibernate/JPA)
- Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Unit and integration testing (JUnit, Mockito)
- Cloud experience (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
- Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and SRE practices

Database & Storage:
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB)
- Query optimization and performance tuning

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with event-driven architecture and distributed systems design
- Knowledge of security best practices (OAuth2, JWT)
- Experience with caching systems (Redis)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- AWS/Azure/GCP certification (plus)
