We are seeking a bilingual Factory Office Staff / Translator & Interpreter (Japanese-English) for a manufacturing facility in Alabama. This full-time, direct-hire role offers $50,000-$55,000 DOE, with relocation support available. The schedule is 7:30am-4:30pm with a 1-hour lunch. Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities include interpreting and translating documents, supporting meetings and daily operations, assisting Japanese expatriates, and coordinating across departments such as Production, Quality, Planning, and Safety. The role also involves data analysis, reporting, and administrative tasks to facilitate communication between Japanese management and local staff.
Qualifications include Japanese-English bilingual proficiency, strong communication skills, and an interest in manufacturing. Prior interpretation experience is a plus but not required. Ideal candidates are organized, analytical, positive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
