Janitor

Kocher + Beck USA, L.P., a manufacturer in Lenexa, KS, is seeking candidates who enjoy a fast-paced, clean, climate controlled production environment. We are looking to hire a detail-oriented person with good multi-tasking skills to maintain the building to specific cleaning specifications. The employee will work closely with the team to prioritize and manage the day-to-day, week-to-week cleaning routine.

Position Type + Hours:

This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week with occasional flexibility for special monthly or quarterly tasks that may need to be performed on a Saturday or Sunday. K+B offers competitive pay and benefits.

 Responsibilities:

• Will conduct general and detailed cleaning throughout the building including restrooms and break areas
• Keeping building free from indoor pests
• Maintaining inventory of cleaning agents and equipment
• Must be to complete cleaning schedule timely and to cleaning standards
• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
• Waxing furniture and cleaning fixtures
• Disposing of trash and emptying trash receptacles
• Be able to work with:
  • Chemicals, cleaning materials
  • Operate vacuum cleaner, dishwasher, floor scrubber

  Other Requirements:

• Proficient knowledge of cleaning equipment and agents
• Must be able to work independently
• Resilient to cleaning agents and chemicals
• Schedule flexibility will be needed based on special routine tasks

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those a candidate must meet to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This role consists of standing and walking work for the duration of the shift. The employee is occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 5 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. 

Compensation details: 20-20 Hourly Wage
