Description
Client has an immediate opening for an J2EE Programmer Analyst at our corporate office located in  a suburb of Pittsburgh, PA.

The J2EE Programmer Analyst is responsible for:
  • Developing and enhancing existing Web applications using the industry standard web practices
  • Developing and supporting interfaces for e-commerce web sites for Client
  • Working with other members of the business engineering team to streamline business processes
  • Working with external and internal customers to understand their needs for system enhancements and propose appropriate functional solutions
  • Defining technical ECDs, flows and interfaces based on functional requirements
  • Supporting requests from both internal and external customers
 
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:
  • Masters degree in Computer Science or related discipline and two plus years of development experience; or a Bachelors degree and five plus years of experience
  • Expertise in Java technologies using Java 1.4 and greater, JSP, JSTL, XML, DHTML, JDBC, Servlets, JDNI, Log4J and EJBs
  • Two years of experience using Web Technologies like HTML, DHTMLX, JavaScript, Ajax and CSS
  • At least two years of IBM Websphere Commerce development experience in B2B or B2C implementation is required
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Struts Framework
  • Two years of experience with Oracle Databases versions Oracle 9 and upwards and ability to program using SQL and PL/SQL
  • Exposure to version control tools like PVCs or CVS or SVN
  • Experience to UNIX shell scripting
  • Experience to IBM’s RAD is a plus
  • Strong understanding of the Object Oriented paradigm
  • Must have good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Self-motivated and able to perform with minimal supervision
  • Effective team player and adhering the project deadlines
