IU Health Medical Group has an employment opportunity for a BC/BE Nocturnist at IU Health Medical Group at Arnett Hospital located in Lafayette, Indiana.
Employment opportunity details:
- Schedule: one week on and two weeks off, approx. 17.3 work weeks annually.
- The rotation in scheduled hours every worked week between the three shifts:
- (12p - 12a) Admitting shift,
- (4p - 4a) Admitting shift,
- (7p - 7a) Cross cover, in coordination with a rounding APP.
- 10-14 admits per shift.
- Scribe assistance during admitting shifts.
- Working with family medicine residents overnight
- Hospitalist team totals 30 Physicians.
- 9 Advance Practice Providers
- Acute care with abundant subspeciality consults, suburban setting, adult population, closed ICU, provide telehealth coverage for IU White and Frankfort Hospital.
- Respond to all codes and RRTs. Experience with procedures and intubations highly preferred.
- Collegial medical staff
- Opportunity to work with medical students from IU School of Medicine West Lafayette Campus.
Qualifications:
- Residency training in Internal Medicine
- Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine
- Physician licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana
