IT Technician

A nonprofit organization is seeking a motivated and service oriented IT Helpdesk Technician to provide technical support to employees and end users across the organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, solving problems, and delivering excellent customer service while working in a collaborative environment.

The IT Helpdesk Technician will be responsible for supporting users with hardware, software, network, and system related issues while helping maintain efficient and reliable technology operations. The ideal candidate is patient, professional, detail oriented, and eager to expand their technical knowledge and skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to employees, clients, and end users

• Troubleshoot computer, software, printer, email, internet, and network issues

• Set up and maintain workstations, user accounts, and devices

• Document support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions

• Escalate complex technical issues when necessary

• Assist with maintaining and improving IT systems and processes

• Support onboarding and setup of new employees and equipment

• Deliver exceptional customer service with patience and professionalism

Qualifications:

• Strong interest in technology and helping others

• Excellent communication and problem solving skills

• Basic knowledge of computers, software, networks, and troubleshooting

• Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a team environment

• Prior IT experience, certifications, or technical training preferred

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Professional, patient, and customer service oriented mindset
