Position Overview:
  • Leader in food production and distribution, IT Technician I to support its farming and packing operations during peak season.
  • Onsite role provides handson technical support across multiple ranch locations, ensuring smooth operation of field technology, production systems, and mobile applications used throughout the organization.
  • This is an excellent opportunity for an earlycareer IT professional who enjoys problemsolving, working outdoors, and supporting fastpaced production environments.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Provide onsite troubleshooting for hardware, software, and mobile devices
  • Perform break/fix tasks and equipment setup
  • Support applications used on cell phones and tablets by field staff
  • Assist with basic networking issues and connectivity troubleshooting
  • Install and configure access points (Client) and printers as needed
  • Respond promptly to issues as they arise across ranch locations
  • Manage daily ticket volume (typically 3–5; may increase to 15–30 during peak periods)
  • Collaborate with a 6person IT team and a 15person 24/7 Help Desk
 
Required Qualifications:
  • 1–2 years of IT support experience
  • Strong understanding of PC hardware, mobile devices, and networking fundamentals
  • Ability to work in fastpaced production or packing environments (experience is a plus)
  • Comfortable working outdoors and traveling between sites
  • Strong communication and customerservice skills
  • Problemsolver with a handson, "don't walk away from the issue” mindset
  • Professional attitude with respect for field operations and management
 
Pay Rate: $32.00-$35.00/Hour.
