Slick City is seeking a motivated IT Technician / Assistant Manager to support both our technology systems and daily park operations. This dual-role position is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys troubleshooting technical issues while helping manage staff, guest experience, and facility operations in a fast-paced entertainment environment.
Provide on-site IT support for POS systems, ticketing software, kiosks, and office computers
Troubleshoot network, Wi-Fi, printers, registers, tablets, TVs, and digital signage
Support security cameras, access control, and music/AV systems
Coordinate with vendors for internet, POS, and software support
Perform system updates, maintenance, and basic documentation
Respond quickly to tech issues impacting guest experience
Support the General Manager with daily operations and shift leadership
Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance coaching
Handle guest concerns and service recovery professionally
Ensure safety, cleanliness, and operational standards are met
Step in as Manager on Duty when needed
Assist with opening/closing procedures and cash handling
2+ years in IT support, operations, or management (entertainment, retail, or hospitality preferred)
Strong technical troubleshooting skills (POS, networking, hardware)
Leadership experience or readiness to step into a management role
Excellent communication and guest-service skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a live, guest-facing environment
Availability for evenings, weekends, and peak business times
POS or ticketing system experience
Basic networking knowledge (routers, switches, Wi-Fi)
Experience supervising staff
CompTIA A+ / Network+ or equivalent experience (a plus, not required)
