Job Purpose:
Write and review technical materials, such as manuals, appendices, or instructions. May assist in layout work.
Core Duties:
Organize material and complete writing assignment according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, online accessibility, and terminology.
Design and format publications, and coordinate printing and distribution of technical documents.
Develop web or print content that complies with department and university standards.
Maintain records and files of work and revisions.
Monitor and resolve HelpSU tickets.
Minimum Requirements:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant work experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent writing and grammar skills in addition to relevant technical knowledge.
Good working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
Good working knowledge of content management systems such as Drupal.
Good working knowledge of Google Workspace and Adobe Creative tools.

None
Physical Requirements:
Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.
Frequently sit, grasp lightly/fine manipulation.
Occasionally stand/walk, writing by hand.
Rarely use a telephone, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
Requires good visual acuity.
