Summary

The IT Systems & Support Specialist plays a key role in supporting Toho International’s growing technology environment and hybrid workforce. Reporting to the Director of IT & Workplace Operations, this position provides hands-on technical support, manages day-to-day system administration, and helps maintain a secure, efficient, and creative workspace for employees across New York, Los Angeles, and remote locations.


You’ll be the go-to person for troubleshooting, onboarding, device setup, and software management while also contributing to projects that modernize and scale our IT systems. This role is ideal for a proactive, resourceful professional who enjoys solving problems, improving systems, and supporting a dynamic entertainment organization.

What you’ll do

  • Serve as the first point of contact for IT support across macOS and Windows environments, including hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including account provisioning, device setup, and system access in alignment with security protocols.
  • Administer and maintain IT systems such as Google Workspace, MDM (e.g., Kandji, Jamf), SSO, and other SaaS tools.
  • Support endpoint and network security through monitoring, patching, and enforcing security policies.
  • Maintain inventory of IT assets, ensuring accurate tracking, maintenance, and lifecycle management.
  • Assist with the setup and maintenance of office technology including conference rooms, printers, and internet connectivity.
  • Partner with the Director to implement, document, and standardize IT processes, configurations, and best practices across locations.
  • Support company-wide software rollouts, integrations, and system migrations (ERP, HRIS, eCommerce, project management tools).
  • Assist in compliance audits and ensure adherence to security and data protection policies (e.g., J-SOX, GDPR).
  • Help deliver IT training, documentation, and resources to enable employee self-service and awareness.
  • Provide occasional on-site support for events, production activities, and technology setups in the New York office.

What you’ll have

  • 2–4 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or related technical roles.
  • Hands-on experience supporting macOS and Windows environments.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace, MDM platforms, or similar SSO, and modern SaaS ecosystems.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and data protection fundamentals.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in IT and/or workplace operations
  • Proven experience sourcing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise software systems (ERP, HRIS, project management, ecommerce tools).
    Strong working knowledge of macOS and Windows, MDM solutions, cybersecurity frameworks, and modern SaaS tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack, Adobe CC, Shopify backend, Airtable, Asana).
  • Experience supporting eCommerce, digital operations, or technology-driven creative organizations is a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated success managing hybrid/ multi-site technology environments, office operations, and teams. 
  • Excellent project management, vendor negotiation, and budgeting skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities with a customer-service mindset.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, creative, and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Background in entertainment, creative, or digital/eCommerce industries is a plus.
