Responsible for effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of system hardware, software and related infrastructure technologies. Individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the enterprise. Works closely with college entities on project planning, implementation and ongoing support. Ensures system hardware, operating systems, software systems and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling faculty, staff and student success. Performs other duties as assigned.

Additional Information Requires individual with or nearing the completion of a Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: • Business Information Systems • Information Technology • Systems Administration • Telecommunications • Network Administration • Computer Science • or related area
More than five years of related work experience preferred. Additionally, experience with Microsoft OS and applications, VMware virtualization technology and HP Server hardware platforms. Technical and vendor certifications are encouraged. Ability to manage and prioritize projects and respond to deadlines. Requires continuing education regarding current technologies via training and learning opportunities. Must have excellent communication skills in order to work with team members, staff, students and vendors
