Job Summary (List Format) IT Systems and Support Manager

- Position: IT Systems and Support Manager
- Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid; 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
- Duration: 4-month contract-to-hire (intent to convert to FTE)
- Schedule: Full-time, Day shift (8:00 AM 5:00 PM)
- Start Date: Projected 05/04/2026

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage systems, desktop support, and service desk teams.
- Maintain high availability, reliability, and security of network, cloud, and end-user computing environments.
- Oversee troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues.
- Participate in IT strategic planning and governance as part of the IT Management Team.
- Coordinate IT projects, manage timelines and resources, and support technical initiatives.
- Act as subject matter expert for network and cloud architecture (Azure and on-premise).
- Design, implement, and secure cloud and network systems.
- Oversee management of enterprise servers, PCs, storage, virtual platforms, and communication systems.
- Lead change control, incident response, and vendor management.
- Ensure compliance with IT governance standards and best practices.

Required Knowledge & Experience:
- 3+ years of management experience in IT systems/support.
- Strong understanding of Azure cloud services, enterprise networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, Layer 3 switching), virtualization, and multi-tiered security architectures.
- Familiarity with IT governance frameworks (ITIL, COBIT, MOF).
- Working knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft Exchange, Hyper-V, SharePoint, SQL Server, Active Directory, and Cisco technologies.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Microsoft Exchange, Hyper-V, SharePoint, SQL Server management.
- Windows 11 PC imaging and troubleshooting.
- Cisco switching experience.

Additional Requirements:
- Must reside in the Phoenix, AZ area (local candidates only).
- Must be available for in-person interviews and able to start within two weeks of offer.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship).
- Background check and drug screening required.
- Hybrid work schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).
- No travel required.
