IT Systems Analyst 1 (Clerk of the Court)

Location: 509 S. East Avenue, Clearwater, Florida 33756

This is not a work from home position.

Schedule: Normal hours are M-F 8:00am - 5:00pm however, this position may involve duties that extend beyond the regular work schedule, including evenings or weekends as needed.

The Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller is seeking an IT Systems Analyst for the Infrastructure and Operational Services Department as part of the Clerk's Technology Division. In this position, you will have an opportunity to fulfill many roles from Service Desk Technician, Audio/Video Technician, Systems Administrator, and Operations Analyst, to Systems Analyst. What You Would Do

Actively resolving and escalating end-user help requests within established SLAs remotely or in person as the situations arise.

Evaluate documented resolutions and analyze trends for ways to prevent recurring issues.

Assist in software and patch releases and rollouts according to change management best practices.

Perform onsite analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex A/V hardware problems for a variety of end users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions, including offsite repair as needed.

Advise on the purchase of new A/V equipment and assist with its installation.

Manage all operating systems and end-user software.

Manage input/output fleet, including printers and scanners.

Manage end user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with best-practices regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.

Support application development teams throughout project lifecycles.

Recommend, schedule, and perform software and hardware improvements, upgrades, patches, reconfigurations, and/or purchases.

Conduct research on emerging products, services, protocols, and standards in support of systems software procurement and development efforts.

Assist in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing applications.

Conduct research on hardware and software products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts.

Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems.

Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems.

What You Need To Have

Minimum Education and Experience:

Two years hands-on experience providing strong root-cause analysis in a similar technical role.

Associate degree or equivalent technical training in information technology.

Or any equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience as described above which provide the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Solid grasp of PowerShell scripting

Skilled with similar Endpoint Management systems - provisioning, configuration, software deployment, and patching

Ability to use and apply reference materials to research and solve problems

Ability to recommend changes to improve operational efficiencies

Ability to coordinate efforts among multiple departments to solve problems

Ability to communicate with tact, patience, and courtesy at all levels of the organization both verbally and in writing

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with partners

Ability to prepare and deliver effective presentations

Ability to work independently as well as within a team
