Are you a seasoned IT professional with over 15 years of experience in enterprise IT leadership, infrastructure strategy, and cybersecurity governance? We are looking for a dynamic individual to lead our IT systems administration team in Downtown Houston, TX. Responsibilities

  • Direct IT strategy for global enterprise infrastructure, aligning with business goals and technology innovations.
  • Develop and enforce enterprise-wide IT policies, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Lead IT transformation initiatives and oversee IT operations teams.
  • Implement cloud-first strategies and ensure security best practices for all IT environments.
  • Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot on-premise server infrastructure, including Windows and Linux servers.
  • Manage and configure network components, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security.
  • Design and deploy hybrid infrastructure solutions that integrate on-premises systems with cloud services.
  • Develop and implement automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
  • Lead infrastructure and cloud migration projects, ensuring project milestones and deliverables are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 15 years of experience in enterprise IT leadership, infrastructure strategy, and cybersecurity governance.
  • Strong expertise in IT governance, DevSecOps, cloud security architecture, disaster recovery planning, and large-scale IT automation frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with VMware, AWS, Azure AD, networking, and cloud-based infrastructure solutions.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar languages.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Solutions Architect Associate, or Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
  • Experience supporting containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of ITIL best practices and documentation standards.
