Position Overview

The IT Support Specialist provides district-wide technical support for students, staff, classrooms, and school operations. This position maintains, deploys, troubleshoots, and documents district devices and classroom technology, while supporting ticket management, inventory, repairs, technology rollouts, and school-year readiness.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience supporting technology devices, systems, or end users in a professional environment
  • Working knowledge of ChromeOS, Windows OS, Apple operating systems, and mobile devices
  • Strong troubleshooting skills related to hardware, software, connectivity, and classroom technology
  • Ability to diagnose issues, determine next steps, and escalate when needed
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and contribute to a collaborative team
  • Ability and willingness to learn new technologies, systems, applications, and procedures
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity awareness and safe technology practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a K-12 educational environment
  • Experience with help desk, device management, inventory, or ticketing systems
  • Familiarity with Google Admin Console, Microsoft, JAMF, Active Directory, or similar platforms
  • Google, Apple, or other industry technology certifications
