As the IT Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our IT systems. You will be responsible for providing technical support to our staff and ensuring that all IT equipment and software are functioning properly. This is a full-time position, with a schedule of 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to staff for all IT-related issues, including hardware, software, and network problems
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Install and configure new hardware and software as needed
- Maintain and update IT equipment and software to ensure optimal performance
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Ensure data backups are performed regularly and securely
- Maintain inventory of all IT equipment and software
- Train staff on the proper use of IT systems and software
- Keep up-to-date with new technologies and make recommendations for improvements to current systems
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement new projects and initiatives
- Communicate effectively with staff to understand their IT needs and provide solutions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
- Experience with network troubleshooting and maintenance
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
