As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our team members and clients. You will be the first point of contact for any IT-related issues and will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical problems in a timely manner. Your role will be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and efficient communication within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and assistance to team members and clients remotely
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems
- Install and configure computer systems, applications, and peripheral devices
- Maintain and update software and hardware systems
- Monitor and maintain network performance and security
- Create and maintain documentation for IT processes and procedures
- Train team members on new technology and software updates
- Collaborate with other IT team members to identify and implement improvements to our systems and processes
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in IT support
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in IT support or a similar role
- Knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
- Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Familiarity with network systems and protocols
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Experience with remote support tools is a plus
