Capital Tower & Communications, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team in Lincoln, NE. The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our employees and clients. This individual will troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, as well as assist with the installation and configuration of IT equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment
Install, configure, and maintain software applications and operating systems
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and resolve them in a timely manner
Assist with the setup and maintenance of email accounts and other communication systems
Create user accounts and manage permissions and access controls
Perform regular backups and ensure data security and integrity
Document IT procedures and provide training to staff members
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
2+ years of experience in IT support or a similar role
Strong knowledge of Windows and MacOS operating systems
Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting techniques
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
