Salary:                             $52,708.50 - $65,812.50 (depending on experience)

Reports to:                      Senior IT Manager- Service Desk & Desktop Support   

Supervises:                     N/A  

 

Job Summary:

To support, install, configure, monitor, and maintain desktop hardware and software, provide 2nd-tier Service Desk support, and manage mobile devices.

 

Essential Job Functions: 

  • Provide Tier 2 support for the Service Desk through phone and field operations.
  • Support and maintain desktop hardware and peripherals, including lifecycles, driver/firmware updates, and functional troubleshooting.
  • Maintain and support end user software through license management, application lifecycle, security updates, version/feature updates, and compatibility verification.
  • Manage and maintain mobile phones and data devices through procurement, asset management, billing, and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain and support the Service Desk management applications and systems.
  • Work with the Bureau of Elections in support of Election Day processes.
  • Participate in training, seminars, and meetings as required.
  • Perform other related duties and assignments as required.

 

Minimum Requirements to Perform the Work: 

Education:

  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is required.
  • Certifications or 5-10 years of work experience in technical support or information technology will be considered.

 

Work Experience:

  • 2-4 years of work experience in a technical support role.
