HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Job Summary: 

  • Application systems expert for Epic User Provisioning (UP) and related identity and access management functions. Responsible for the analysis, design, implementation, configuration, testing, maintenance, and support of security and user access solutions for Epic
  • Collaborates with operational, clinical, and technical stakeholders to ensure secure, efficient, and compliant access to Epic
  • Performs complex analysis of business requirements and translates them into scalable security and provisioning solutions.
  • Designs, builds, configures, tests, documents, and supports Epic security classes, user templates, role-based access controls, provider records, and related application functionality.
  • Evaluates current workflows and develops process improvements that enhance security, operational efficiency, and user experience.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert for Epic User Provisioning and access management initiatives.
  • Provides a secure, effective, integrated patient care delivery system that continually improves outcomes, reduces cost, increases efficiency, and enhances patients’ experiences

Reports To: IT [Information Technology]/Manager Application Svcs

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY:

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, IT management, software engineering, computer engineering, computer science, computer information systems, applied engineering, health information management (HIM), health informatics, nursing informatics, nursing, health science, education, business administration, health care, or a related field.
  • Human Resources (HR) may accept directly related work experience on a 1-year:1-year basis for required education. [NOTE: Experience credited in lieu of formal education will not be credited toward the minimum experience requirement below (i.e., the same experience will not be counted twice).]

Required Experience:

  • Four (4) years of directly related professional experience

Other Qualifications: Communication skills (critical). Problem-solving skills (critical)

 

Required Certification/License/Registry:

  • Related Epic certification(s) required. Multiple certifications may be required depending on functional area and job responsibilities. Required certification(s) must be obtained within ninety (90) days from last class completion. If a required certification is not obtained after three (3) examination attempts, the incumbent has a period of thirty (30) days after the last examination attempt to apply for other job opportunities within the organization. If unable to acquire another position within the organization, the incumbent’s employment with Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare, Inc. (TMH) ends.
