Job Description: Seeking an expert-level IT Specialist to support enterprise desktop engineering and end-user computing environments through desktop infrastructure management, endpoint security, Windows imaging, mobile device management, Active Directory administration, and enterprise support operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Windows environments, desktop engineering, endpoint security, PowerShell automation, MDM solutions, networking, VPN technologies, and enterprise device management. This role requires hands-on experience supporting desktop and laptop environments, system upgrades, security compliance, troubleshooting, patching, infrastructure evaluations, and enterprise technology modernization initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and support desktop and laptop hardware solutions across enterprise environments
  • Create, maintain, and optimize Windows baseline images for enterprise deployment
  • Manage mobile device management (MDM) solutions and endpoint administration activities
  • Configure and maintain Active Directory Group Policies and user environment settings
  • Support VPN connectivity, remote access technologies, and secure authentication mechanisms
  • Perform upgrades, patching, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and issue remediation activities
  • Support endpoint security, cybersecurity standards, and compliance requirements
  • Conduct system diagnostics and troubleshoot hardware, software, and infrastructure-related issues
  • Assist with desktop infrastructure modernization and enterprise support initiatives
  • Provide technical support and guidance for enterprise desktop computing operations


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Research, evaluate, and recommend infrastructure technologies and desktop solutions
  • Conduct proof-of-concept testing and technical evaluations for new technologies
  • Maintain endpoint security compliance and enterprise device governance
  • Support hardware deployment, configuration, and end-user troubleshooting activities
  • Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge transfer activities
  • Participate in enterprise security, system maintenance, and support initiatives


Required Skills:

  • Strong experience with Windows 7/10 enterprise desktop environments
  • Strong Active Directory administration and Group Policy management experience
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and desktop automation activities
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions and endpoint administration
  • Strong networking, VPN support, and remote access troubleshooting experience
  • Experience with PKI, endpoint security, and cybersecurity best practices
  • Experience supporting enterprise desktop engineering and imaging solutions
  • Strong troubleshooting, hardware support, and system maintenance experience
  • Experience supporting multi-user enterprise computing environments


Qualifications:

  • Strong desktop engineering and enterprise infrastructure support experience preferred
  • Experience supporting endpoint security and enterprise device management preferred
  • Must complete fingerprinting and enterprise security clearance requirements
  • Strong troubleshooting, collaboration, and technical communication skills preferred


Certifications:

  • CompTIA certification preferred
  • Microsoft certification preferred
  • Endpoint management certification preferred
