Community and Family Resources is a provider of substance use, problem gambling, and mental health services. We are currently seeking candidates for Information Technology Specialist (IT) position to provide tech support in our Ames location. This position is instrumental in ensuring our facility has the needed technology capabilities for us to serve our clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain operational, configuration or other procedures.
- Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning.
- Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
- Maintain data center environmental and monitoring equipment.
- Provide aid with both new hires and terminations to add or remove access within required company portal access pertaining to their roles.
- Establish internal record keeping and reporting procedures in support of the information system.
- Install new/rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
Schedule:
- Type: Part-time
- Hours: 24 hours each week, Three, 8 hour days, likely Monday - Wednesday, 8a-4:30p.
Education and Experience Qualifications:
- Associate degree or higher in computer troubleshooting/networking.
- One-year satisfactory demonstrated experience in computers, networking and Data Systems may be substituted for each year of required education post Associates level.
