IT Sourcing Specialist I - 13A - $54,400 - $68,000
IT Sourcing Specialist II - 14A - $66,600 - $83,200
Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The Sourcing Specialist serves as a day-to-day representative of Procurement for a designated function (e.g., a set of IT customers) for emergent and near-term needs. The Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for sourcing technology related products and services, typically in support of the Information Technology (IT) function in accordance with established policies and procedures. The Sourcing Specialist identifies and manages key business relationships and looks for ways to continuously improve the customer relationship and satisfaction.
Education and Experience Requirements:
The preferred candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related degree field and related experience in the areas of procurement, strategic sourcing, contracting, project management and or financial analysis.
However, candidates who do not hold a degree may be considered if they possess an equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the role.
Additional experience as outlined in the below skills, knowledge and abilities is highly desired.
APICS/ISM certification preferred. Lean / Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred.
