About the Position
The College of Arts & Letters seeks a collaborative and strategic IT Solutions Consultant to serve as a trusted technology advisor to faculty and staff. This role bridges the gap between academic priorities and technical execution by leading the full lifecycle of technology solutions-from discovery and planning through implementation and long-term optimization.
The IT Solutions Consultant partners closely with stakeholders across the College to understand instructional, research, and administrative needs and translate them into effective, sustainable technology solutions. A central component of the role includes advising on hardware procurement and asset strategy to ensure technology investments are fiscally responsible, aligned with institutional standards, and tailored to specialized academic requirements.
This position requires a strong combination of technical expertise, relationship management, project coordination, and strategic thinking. The successful candidate will maintain a deep understanding of university IT services, emerging technologies, and best practices to help advance the mission of the College and the University.
