The East Irondequoit School District has an opening for Senior Network Technician in the Information Technology Department. This is a competitive, 12-month Civil Service position working 8 hours per day, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
Responsibilities are but not limited to the following:
- Schedules installation, replacement, movement, and repair of all network communication equipment (terminals, printers, modems, etc.) & resolve helpdesk tickets
- Maintains detailed information on all network problems, including statistics on vendor reliability and responsiveness;
- Responsible for district fax system
- Responsible for maintaining district Raptor visitor software and hardware
- Troubleshoot network connectivity and wi-fi issues on devices
- Supervises Network Technicians;
- Assist with inventory maintenance and surplus runs on surplus days as needed
- Image devices using LANDESK or setup inTune
- Performs Network Technician duties as needed & work collaboratively with the team and provide input on ongoing projects and future tasks that need to be accomplished
