Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Security Solutions Engineer to develop effective computing solutions to enhance our company's system and project security. This role involves crafting new strategies for solving existing security problems, improving incident response protocols, and deploying innovative security measures. The candidate will work closely with other engineers to improve workflows, mitigate production issues, and enhance our security infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies for solving existing production security issues.
- Configure and manage firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
- Perform regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and conduct forensic investigations when necessary.
- Develop automation scripts to efficiently handle and track security incidents.
- Test, evaluate, and deploy new or upgraded security hardware and software solutions.
Must Have Skills:
- Advanced understanding of intrusion detection and prevention systems.
- Exceptional incident response and computer forensics skills.
- Proficiency in common computer languages and operating systems.
Domain Experience Required: Prior experience in cybersecurity within IT or related industries is essential for this role.
