IT Sales Director – MSP & Strategic IT Verticals

Location: East Brunswick, NJ - Hybrid role 3 days a week on site
Compensation: Guaranteed Base + Uncapped Commissions + Benefits

Role Overview

We are seeking a results-driven IT Sales Director with a strong background in MSP/VMS sales and niche IT vertical selling. This is a hunter role focused on acquiring new logos, penetrating MSP programs, and driving revenue growth within high-demand technology areas.
You will own the full sales lifecycle while positioning Kavyos as a specialized partner in Salesforce, Databricks, and Actimize ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new logo acquisition with a focus on MSP/VMS programs and enterprise accounts
  • Develop and execute targeted strategies to break into and expand within MSP channels
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline through cold outreach, LinkedIn, referrals, and industry networks
  • Sell staffing and consulting solutions across Salesforce, Databricks, and Actimize verticals
  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting → qualification → solutioning → negotiation → closure
  • Partner with internal SMEs, delivery, and recruiting to position niche capabilities effectively
  • Identify and qualify high-value opportunities requiring specialized skill sets (e.g., Salesforce clouds, data engineering on Databricks, financial crime/Actimize SMEs)
  • Create tailored client pitches, proposals, and solution narratives based on business needs
  • Build relationships with MSP program managers, procurement teams, and hiring managers
  • Ensure CRM discipline and accurate pipeline forecasting
  • Meet and exceed revenue and GP targets

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in IT staffing or services sales, with strong exposure to MSP/VMS models
  • Proven success in new logo hunting and MSP program penetration
  • Experience selling into at least one of the following domains:
    • Salesforce (Sales, Service, Marketing, Commerce, etc.)
    • Databricks / Data Engineering / Analytics platforms
    • NICE Actimize / Financial Crime / Risk & Compliance
  • Strong understanding of enterprise buying cycles and procurement processes
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage a sales pipeline independently
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • High energy, self-starter mindset with strong ownership and accountability
  • Experience working with onsite/offshore delivery models preferred
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and MS Office suite
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events
