Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented IT Quality Assurance Analyst, Senior to join our team to support the client’s UI Modernization efforts. This role will focus on providing system testing, both automated and manual, for various software applications as part of ongoing operations and maintenance support. The Testing Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the system meets functional, security, and quality standards before release.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing methodologies, quality assurance, and working within Agile environments. This position involves interacting with multiple stakeholders, including federal staff, contractors, and state IT teams to ensure the success of the UI modernization efforts.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
3 -5 years of experience in software testing, with expertise in both manual and automated testing processes.
Preferred Certifications in Software Testing: ISTQB, CSTE
Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.) and hybrid infrastructure environments.
Familiarity with DevOps processes and continuous integration (CI) testing pipelines.
Experience in working on government IT modernization projects, particularly in the context of UI or identity verification systems.
Experience in Agile/SCRUM environments, collaborating with development teams to ensure quality deliverables.
Strong knowledge of test case creation, defect management, and tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, etc.).
Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP, etc.) and frameworks.
Strong understanding of application security testing, performance testing, and data validation.
Familiarity with UI/UX testing for web applications and system integrations.
Knowledge of configuration management, database management, and troubleshooting techniques.
Experience working within a government or large-scale enterprise IT environment is preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly document and report testing results and issues.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-contractor team environment.
Compensation and Benefits
The projected compensation range for this position is $80,000 to $125,000 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
