The Opportunity:
Serve as an IT Quality Assurance Analyst III supporting the Navy Maritime Maintenance Enterprise Solution (NMMES), a mission-critical program that enables maintenance, logistics, and operational readiness across U.S. Navy shipyards and commands.

In this role, you will lead quality assurance efforts across a diverse portfolio of NMMES applications, ensuring systems are delivered with the highest levels of reliability, performance, and compliance. You will play a key role in validating system functionality, supporting integration across multiple platforms, and ensuring mission-critical capabilities meet Government requirements.

This position directly supports enterprise modernization efforts impacting over 45,000 users worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain quality assurance processes across the full system development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring consistent application of QA standards and best practices

  • Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, and procedures for NMMES applications

  • Lead and support functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) across multiple systems and environments

  • Conduct formal and informal reviews at key lifecycle milestones to validate system quality and compliance with requirements

  • Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with development and systems engineering teams to resolve issues efficiently

  • Support major testing events, including System Integration Testing (SIT), Operational Testing, and go-live readiness activities

  • Ensure systems meet DoD, Navy, and NAVSEA quality standards, policies, and compliance requirements

  • Provide QA metrics, reporting, and analysis to program leadership and Government stakeholders

  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, system architects, and operations teams to ensure end-to-end system quality

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA personnel and support staff

  • Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency, automation, and overall system quality


Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree (STEM preferred but not required)

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality assurance, software testing, or related IT field

  • Demonstrated experience establishing and maintaining QA processes across the system lifecycle

  • Experience developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test procedures

  • Experience supporting testing across complex, integrated systems and multiple environments

  • Experience with defect tracking tools and test management frameworks

  • Ability to independently perform complex QA tasks and provide consultation on quality assurance strategies

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Experience supporting DoD/Navy programs or large-scale federal IT environments

  • Active or ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance


Desired:

  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise systems or government modernization programs

  • Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks

  • Experience with Agile, iterative, or hybrid development methodologies

  • Experience supporting system integration across multiple applications and external interfaces

  • Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipeline integration

  • Experience supporting system go-live, cutover, or transition events

  • ISTQB or related QA certification

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$90,300-$189,600
