IT Project Manager

Location: Tualatin, OR

Onsite Flexibility: Hybrid

Contract Details

  • Position Type: Contract
  • Contract Duration: 5 months
  • Pay Rate: $60.00 $70.00 / Hour (USD)
  • Shift / Schedule: 8 AM 5 PM (PST hours required)
  • Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

The Project Manager will perform responsibilities described herein and adequately provide overall project management to support the OATI Simplification Project, providing day-to-day leadership of project functions. Resumes are required to reflect evidence of delivery for all the following project management activities and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitation of team meetings
  • Facilitation of design sessions
  • Providing project updates to the required stakeholders and project personnel per the project communications plan
  • Facilitation of project schedule inputs and updates
  • Creating, maintaining, and communicating the project Risk register
  • Creating, maintaining, and communicating the project organization chart
  • Maintaining and communicating the project budget and forecast for the full scope of the funding project
  • Maintaining and completing the client's System Design Life Cycle (SDLC) documentation throughout the lifecycle of the project

Required Skills

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Solid project management (PM) skills
  • Effective organization skills

Preferred Skills

  • Utility experience in the operations space
  • Experience with Jira, SharePoint/Confluence documentation or project coordination
  • PMP certification

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience in lieu of degree)
  • PMP certification preferred

Required Experience

  • 5 years of project management experience required
  • Experience supporting application development and integration teams, including system integrations, testing, documentation, and production support
  • Familiarity with tools such as AWS/OATI, PI/OSIsoft, EMS, and APIs/SFTP preferred

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

  • Must be willing to work PST hours
  • Open to remote non-local candidates (hybrid arrangement)
