IT Project Manager II

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager II with 4 7 years of IT project management experience to lead the successful delivery of strategic technology initiatives. This role requires a proactive, high-ownership professional who can manage cross-functional teams, collaborate with external implementation partners, and drive projects from planning through execution.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing data-driven technology projects involving pricing systems, analytics, AI initiatives, and process optimization while working across both Agile and Waterfall delivery models.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Delivery
- Manage the complete project lifecycle from planning through implementation.
- Define project scope, objectives, milestones, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Manage Waterfall project activities where applicable.
- Track project progress, risks, dependencies, and deliverables through dashboards and status reporting.
- Coordinate internal technical, product, and business teams alongside external implementation partners.
- Identify risks proactively and drive issue resolution to ensure successful project delivery.
Price Margin Optimization (Primary Workstream)
- Lead initiatives focused on pricing strategy, promotions, and margin optimization.
- Facilitate current-state and future-state process mapping.
- Coordinate required system enhancements and business process improvements.
- Drive organizational change management for pricing process transformation.
- Oversee pricing data foundation initiatives including:
- Data ingestion
- Data cleansing
- Data transformation
- AI-enabled analytics implementation
AI for Customer Service (Secondary Workstream)
- Provide project management and Scrum Master support for AI customer service initiatives.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Support the adaptation of enterprise data foundations for customer service use cases.
- Help establish repeatable delivery processes for AI pilots and production implementations.
- Monitor pilot execution and ensure successful delivery of AI-driven customer service solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 4 7 years of IT Project Management experience.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional technology projects.
- Experience working with external implementation partners and vendors.
- Strong background supporting pricing systems, promotions, or margin optimization projects.
- Solid understanding of:
- Data ingestion
- Data cleansing
- Data transformation
- Analytics and AI-enabled solutions
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies with the ability to serve as Scrum Master when needed.
- Experience managing projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
Preferred Skills
