About the Role
UCOP is looking for an organized and proactive IT Project Coordinator to support ongoing technology initiatives across Infrastructure, Security, and Application teams. This is a great opportunity for an early-career professional looking to grow their project management experience in a large, mission-driven organization.
What You'll Do
Coordinate meetings, action items, and follow-ups across IT teams and vendors
Track tasks, timelines, and deliverables across multiple projects
Document meeting notes, decisions, and next steps
Support IT leadership with scheduling, reporting, and stakeholder communications
Assist with vendor coordination and issue tracking
Maintain project documentation and collaboration tools
Help ensure priorities and dependencies are clearly communicated across teams
What We're Looking For
13 years of experience in project coordination, IT support, or operations
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Clear communicator comfortable with both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience with tools like Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Jira, Smartsheet, Asana, or Monday.com
Bachelor's degree preferred (IT, Business, MIS, or related field)
Must reside in California

Interest in growing into a full IT Project Manager role
