Overview

FTE: 1.0 Work Location: Remote - Authorized remote work states - FL, GA, MO, PA, NC, SC, TN and TX Reports To: Systems Application Manager

Position Summary:

The Programmer Analyst analyzes the needs of users or business groups and provides technical support for information systems, including coding, designing, implementing, and debugging programs. The position also conducts technical research on system upgrades to determine feasibility, cost, time requirements, and compatibility with existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary resource for implementing project plans by: • Establishing goals and deadlines • Conducting testing and implementation activities • Constructing and executing test scripts • Documenting testing results • Providing post-live support for assigned business and clinical system applications • Develop recommendations to address business requirements based on functional specifications and discussions with the user community, utilizing delivered functionality whenever possible to minimize customizations

Qualifications

Required Education: Associate's degree in business administration, Allied Health, Computer Science, or a related field. Two years of specialized training in an applicable field may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.

Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Allied Health, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.

Necessary Skills

• Ability to work autonomously in a high-production, high-stress environment. • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels. • Excellent interpersonal skills. • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Required Licensure/Certifications Applicable license required if relevant to system assignment (e.g., Laboratory, Respiratory, etc.).

Required Experience Five (5) or more years of experience in an Information Technology field.
