Job Details:
What is the role?
This team is focused on transforming Tyson Foods Beef & Pork division through data, enabling better decisions, improved processes, and stronger customer and team member outcomes. The Lead Analyst plays a key role in that transformation by partnering across business and IT to translate business requirements into data products.
This role works closely with business leaders to understand strategies, data needs, operational processes, and how analytics can drive measurable value. The focus is on defining business requirements, shaping data and reporting solutions including AI, and delivering insights that support both day-to-day operations and enterprise initiatives.
Responsibilities span the full analytics lifecycle — from requirements definition and data modeling alignment to supporting delivery of reporting, dashboards, and advanced analytics use cases. This role also contributes to larger transformation efforts by ensuring data is trusted, aligned to business definitions, and enabling consistent decision-making.
The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver who can connect business context to data, challenge assumptions, and drive clarity. This individual will play a critical role in enabling data-driven decisions, improving transparency, and influencing how Tyson leverages analytics to deliver business results.
