Summary
The IT Procurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing IT hardware and services. This role partners with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure cost-effective, timely, and high-quality procurement outcomes. Key responsibilities include managing RFI/RFP processes, negotiating contracts and service level agreements, tracking procurement data, and coordinating the delivery and installation of IT products.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in IT procurement or a comparable role

Key Responsibilities
- Lead sourcing initiatives, including evaluating vendor pricing, capabilities, and service offerings
- Negotiate pricing with multiple vendors to achieve optimal value for the organization
- Develop and manage RFI/RFP processes, including evaluation and vendor selection
- Review and administer contracts, terms, and service level agreements (SLAs)
- Maintain accurate procurement data, reporting, and documentation
- Coordinate delivery, installation, upgrades, and changes for IT equipment and services
- Ensure accuracy of procurement records, including categorization, coding, and pricing
- Manage day-to-day IT hardware and software requests, including purchase order issuance
- Prepare quotes and manage structured orders in collaboration with internal customers
- Maintain pricing models and standard product configurations
- Oversee inventory levels of in-stock equipment
- Track and manage the lifecycle of contracts, including hardware and cloud services
