IT Procurement Analyst

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 1+ years of professional experience in procurement or contract administration (highly desired).
• Software Proficiency: 3+ years of proven work experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Technical Aptitude: Demonstrated ability to learn and master new software systems quickly.
• Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple contract timelines simultaneously.

Work Schedule & Location

• Hybrid Schedule: Candidates must be available to work onsite 1-2 days per week at the GDOT office located at 600 West Peachtree St. NW, Atlanta, Georgia 30308.
• Contract Duration: Initial 12-month engagement with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and project needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Contract Lifecycle Management: Take ownership of department-wide contract administration, tracking upcoming expiration dates and managing renewals or close-outs.
• Project Coordination: Lead and support procurement projects to streamline contract workflows in conjunction with internal staff.
• Task Processing: Execute routine administrative procurement tasks and meticulously review contract amendments or changes.
• System Utilization: Quickly learn and adapt to internal state procurement systems to maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
• Collaboration: Work within a hybrid environment, coordinating closely with 1-2 team members to meet department deadlines.
