Project 1: Data Science Education Hub
Scope:
Coordinate the setup of an internal Client Data Science education SharePoint site
Consultant will help identify relevant training resources, organize and publish/design in an Client SharePoint site.
The Data Scientist would note areas of focus:Conduct voice of the customer follow up sessions
Duration: 8 to 10 weeks
Required background / experience:
Understanding of data science topics and terminology
Understanding of product development topics
IT PM experience – 3+ years
Project 2: Enterprise Data Lake System Upgrade
Scope:
Manage change management activities during a system upgrade (e.g. schedule information sessions, upload training materials to a collaboration space)
Duration: through mid-December 2019 (~10 weeks)
Required background / experience:
IT PM experience (3+ years)
IT system upgrade experience
Project 3: PM for the Instrument Data Access (IDA) project
Scope:
Organize a program of activities associated with bringing to fruition the Instrument Data Access functionality, i.e. one data repository, accessible for use by colleagues
The project manager is expected to establish a project plan and track each of the sub-projects within the project, approximately 15 projects.
The project manager is expected to provide comprehensive reporting of progress and outcomes of the project (presumably a GANTT chart with annotations).
Duration: through June 2020
