Paradise Valley Community College (PVCC) is seeking an IT Manager who provides leadership and oversight for the planning, direction and implementation of endpoint support, customer care and service operations technologies for the college. Manages departments, teams and staff positions, which includes desktop, and end user support, Help Desk, IT service management tools, processes and functions, and AV/media services. Demonstrates a commitment to service excellence, innovation and digital transformation, a focus on customers and clients, partnership and collaboration, student success, integrity and performance of job duties. Plans, directs, and implements strategic information technologies with an academic focus.

Essential Functions
45% Provides strong leadership, direction and support for the research, evaluation, selection, implementation, integration and administration of enterprise educational and student success technologies to advance the college; directs service delivery in these areas and assures high quality academic and student technology services. Plans, oversees and implements goals and objectives, strategic initiatives, projects, and integrated technologies, systems and services; and directs service delivery and assures quality of services.
20% Leads and/or assists with elements of strategic technology planning, policy, and procedure development, report generation, data visualization, metrics and analyses; develops, oversees, and implements goals, objectives, projects, programs, activities and/or materials pertaining to the adoption and effective use of technology-based teaching and learning tools and other student centric technologies; coordinates, reviews and recommends process/procedure improvements and implements changes to increase efficiency and/or success.
10% Fosters staff development at all levels of the organization; hires, manages, trains and mentors ITS technology staff to meet professional, personal and institutional goals; organizes, assigns, supervises, reviews and evaluates the work of staff; identifies and directs training needs/opportunities and the disciplinary process for assigned function for assigned team(s)/staff
10% Develops budget requests and performs cost/benefit analyses; monitors expenditures to ensure their adherence to established budgets; identifies and recommends resource allocation requests for district-wide ITS academic and student-facing technologies; seeks cost effective solutions; supervises purchasing, negotiates favorable software and service contracts, and provides effective vendor management
10% Builds relationships with stakeholders, including academic and student affairs professionals, faculty, Maricopa leadership, industry partners, IT teams, and college personnel; engages in regular planning and collaboration with customers, partners, and colleagues to assess needs and then develop, refine and/or implement advanced technology solutions to meet identified needs; serves as a district-wide subject matter expert on various technologies. Focuses on customers and clients in all duties and services; provides guidance and consultation to campus constituents.
